An elderly Gentleman by the name of Barrie Keall called by our offices this week with some old photos.

He hand laminated and constructed a large poly house in Ohau (Levin) back in 1970 – 46 years ago! The frames were manufactured from 50×25 Douglas fir, and glued with PUR adhesive and bent around a jig in the paddock. The finished structure was 30m long x 15m wide.

Great effort Barrie! He also recently just finished building a new deck at his Ohau residence, just FYI, he is 86 years old!!!!!
