The Techlam team had a great afternoon at the CONZTRUCT trade event at Eventfinda Stadium in Auckland North on Thursday 6 November. It was excellent to connect with the local builders and tradies.

We set up our pre-engineered truss assembly speed challenge again, offering a portable COBB® Gas Grill as the prize – a useful piece of kit for morning breakfast on construction site or for weekend family adventures. It was a good chance for those who participated to showcase their building skills and see our timber products in action.

After the clock stopped on the day’s attempts, we are pleased to announce the winner of the challenge.

A big congratulations goes to Karl Kennedy, who set the winning time at 6 minutes and 42 seconds!

Well done, Karl! Thank you to everyone who visited our stand and took part in the truss assembly challenge. We truly enjoyed the conversations and the chance to demonstrate the benefits and ease of working with our glulam and pre-engineered timber solutions.
